TREATMENT - is written in present tense, as though we are seeing it now!

Place #s at each edit for a new shot. You should have at least 12 shots. One sentence may take more than one image. Consider where you want dramatic tension and anticipation for what happens next.  How do you build up the drama and release it?

We see a beautiful landscape with a road.   A ball is happily rolling down a road.   As it is going, it sees some tiny blocks in the distance far down the road.   It slowly approaches the blocks.    When it gets close to the blocks, they’re HUGE, and they have mean faces!    The ball is frightened!    Then, it has an idea!     It jumps over the blocks.    It flies high over the blocks and lands on the road behind them.   The ball happily bounces on its way.

Sketch your storyboard very roughly on blank paper using your basic drawing skills. You will change images, remove images and add images. Be flexible!  The movie camera can be anywhere and move any way imaginable. Where should it be to make each shot evoke the story and drama? We will see the scene from a variety of perspectives.
